My Beautiful Brother xoxo
On this day we all remember,
What we hardly could forget,
She's our everyday sister
And yet...
We love Alison!!!
There's no one quite like you,
I'll bet!
It seems a bit wierd putting a poem about myself on my blog, anyway. This is an excerpt from a poem David wrote for me on my birthday last week. I really like this verse, because I think its a good picture of family relationship. David and I have been together virtually every day of our lives. Both of us are far from perfect and we know it. We sometimes have our disagreements, and we don't think the same way on everything. David is saying, " I know you so well. You're not perfect, but you're so special. I'm familiar with everything about you. I love you soo much, and I wouldn't change you for anything in the world. And to me that means so much. I love you David with all my heart. You are totally the best brother God could possibly have given to me. You have made my growing years, my world, sparkle with happiness. I love the way you listen and give good advice. You are so much fun and so creative. You are wise and eloquent, a kind, understanding and protective big brother, as well as a swell buddy. (I'm sorry guys, I love bosting about my brother! I'll stop here, but there's so much more I could say.)
